My dog is VERY ANXIOUS when it rains and thunders?
Hi everyone I have a golden retriever who is about 3 supposedly we had a golden for 11 years who was perfect and he died a month after we got this one she is beautiful and perfect but when it rains ESPECIALLY THUNDER she like has an exorcist and turns into a different dog… shes supposed to be from hurricane Katrina.. When it thunders she will come in my room in the middle of the night and jump on top of me panting like she was just thrown off a cliff and drooling so bad she like is foaming at the mouth she will shake and cry and pant SUPER LOUD she will pee on the beds eat the wall the carpet pull things out of the closet she will go insane she scratches the carpet its impossible to sleep when it rains and shes destroying our house… We have tried EVERYTHING all different kinds of meds shes on Valium we got her a cage and with in a hour she bit and tore her way out of it then we got her the HUGE black wire cage for like a horse and she escaped it like a bear in the woods she bent the wires with her mouth scratched it and came out all bloody….
SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME ADVISE I LOVE HER SHES PERFECT WHEN IT DOESN’T RAIN AND MY MOM WANTS TO GET RID OF HER I LOVE HER BUT SHE WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING AND WE CANT SLEEP PLEASE HELP!
I have she wont sit still nothing works she just acts out in all those ways and like looks at me like a demon LOL and she was abused.

When she gets upset, don’t act like something is wrong. As much as you want to cuddle and comfort her, that tells her she should be upset.
I would put her in crate/room with loud music or the tv on. The noise can stop her from being able to distinguish the thunder, and could possibly get her used to loud noises in general.

A lot of dogs have issues with rain/thunder…one thing to do is when your dog is in this state of mind, do NOT give affection, ignore the behavior, if you give affection during a stressed time, it only encourages the behavior. If your dog is being destructive, a crate is your best option, i know she has destroyed a few but there are several different kinds available…..if its truly as bad as you say, talk with your vet about a different type of med, or increasing the dosage of what she is already on.

Mine std poodle was only comfortable when she was in her crate (covered with a blanket) during thunderstorms. The crate door was facing my bed so she could see me. It was better than being jumped on and being drooled over all night.

I have a golden retriever that is afraid of lighting and thunder hates rain. He also hates water which is very weird to me because most Goldens love to swim. One time on vacation I carried him out into the lake and I petted him as much as possible for comfort.That has helped him out a lot now he will go into water knee deep by him self. Which isn’t a complete success but, better then nothing at all. I know that depending on how you react to thunder and lightening your animal will sense that will be anxious of scared. So make sure you are aware of that. I would also try turning on some calming music or turn the tv on that might help relax the dog or drown down some of the noise. I would also make sure the dog is in a comfortable place and comfort them much as possible.

I know its hard but try not to encourage the behaviour, if you act asthough something is wrong she will sense it and it will make her feel worse, it sounds crazy but the best thing to do is ignore the behaviour. If I was you I’d get her to see a behaviourist who will work on her fears and help her overcome them as she has been through such a bad time. Its not fair to give up her, if you do she will just be passed around from person to person, it will make her even more insecure and she’ll begin to feel like she’s can’t settle or trust anyone, a dog is for life, please don’t give up on her. I hope she’ll be ok.

Mystery sighting in the Sky?
Last Night, just after the New Years Eve countdown, my friends & I went outside.
We looked up at the sky, just seeing the moon and how bright it was, the sky being very clear. Then suddenly, we saw this red/orange thing going through the sky rather fast.
It was almost like a comet without a tail. & Some what like a UFO.
I talked to My friends, outside of the party. & My friend from Manchester said that she saw it too, & she lives like 2 hours & a half a way from Me. Another Friend said that she also saw it, but apart from its usual.
So mine & my friends guess are that maybe it was something like a ufo, or a chinese lantern thing, that are released. But it doesn’t explain the rapid movement of it, because it was hardly windy at all outside?
This sighting was over Buckinghamshire.

SERIOUSLY, Someone please explain this! What could it of Been?!

Yes even I had seen that red-orange thing in india the next night. You said it was without tail but I could see a reddish yellow tail and it was moving very fast. Many people have seen such thing earlier too but this time a telescope from Hyd Birla planetarium had confirmed that such things were seen before too and confirmed it was a UFO. They argued it could not be a comet or mars although it had a small reddish yellow tale !!

Most likely, it would be a Chinese Lantern from Taiwan, or China. If it isn’t, it would be a kind of natural phenomenon. It could be a UFO though, but the possibilities are slim

Chinese lanterns. Saw a load go off last night at midnight. What the wind speed is with you at the ground is different at other heights. The ones I saw last night moved quicker than the wind was at ground level. It is also misleading to guess wind speed without a hint, finger in there air is not as good as seeing something carried by it.

I loved the 1st Saw the next 2 were really good too but the last one or ones, (Is the 4 or 5 now- anyway I know I say em all I just dnt remember) Well they were real crap, in my opinion.

Improve my Machine Re-Volt deck?
Hello there, at school we just started yu-gi-oh again for fun, and i got about 70 cards, and lost about 50. I mainly got all the old cards, and I got the Machine Re-Volt structure deck, since I like the ancient gear monsters. I won’t name all the cards I got( only the half good ones ), but I’m wondering if I can improve the deck using some cards I already have. Well the cards I got are ( note these are all old cards, so some may be banned, but not many ) –

Relinquished (I want to add him in since he’s an excellent card, and I’m going to trade my friend for Black Illusion Ritual, dark type spellcaster/ritual)

Reinforcements x 2 (Trap card that increases selected monster’s attack by 500 points for the turn this is activated)

Castle Walls x 2 (Same as Reinforcements, but does it to defence)

Seven tools of the bandit (Pay 1000 life points to negate + destroy a trap card)

Acid Trap Hole (Destroys a face down defence position monster if its defence is less than 2000)

Ultimate Offering x 2 (Pay 500 life points to summon extra monster)

Magic Jammer (Discard card from hand to negate + destroy magic card) De-Spell x2(Destroy 1 magic card on field, if target is face down check if magic card if it is destroy it, if it isnt it is not activated)

LightForce Sword (trap:choose random cardin their hand and its out of play for 4 turns)

Nobleman of Crossout (Destroy 1 face down monster & remove from play, if it has an affect each player checks their own deck for that card, removes it from play, then shuffles)

Fissure x 2 (Destroy 1 of opponent’s monsters who has the lowest attack. Good if they just summoned 1 monster)

Megamorph (If I got less life points than opponent equipped monster’s attk points r doubled, If i have higher it gets halved.Works well when im losing but backfires as soon as I start winning. I could equip it to my opponent’s monster if i have more life points to halve the attk of their monster, especially good with limiter removal, while im losing)

Invigoration (magic card:increases equipped earth monster’s attack and defence by 300 or something like that, should be good with the earth monsters from Machine Re-Volt

Dian Keto The Cure Master (Heals me 1000 life points)

Man-Eater Bug (Flip: Destroys 1 monster on field, earth type insect)

Mystical Space Typhoon (Destroy 1 spell or trap card on field)

Black Pendant (Equppd monster gains 500 atk, when this is sent to graveyard [the monster is defeated] opponent takes 500 direct dmg)

Shadow Of Eyes (Continuous trap card, whenever opponent sets a monster it is autmatically changed to face up attk, and any flip effect is not activated)

Remove trap x2(Destroy 1 face up trap card)

Hane-Hane (Flip:Select 1 monster card on field, and return to owner’s hand, good if opponent has 6+ level monster and atts it while it in defence, its an eart type)

Robbin’ goblin (trap :Each time my 1 of my monsters do dmg to their life points 1 random card in their hand is sent to graveyard)

Attack and Recieve (trap card: when i take damage to life points I do 700 direct dmg to them)

Witch Of the Black Forest (when this card is sent to graveyard I choose monster with 1500 or less defence from deck and move it to my hand)

Monster Reborn x2 (select 1 monster from my/opponents graveyard and special summon on my side of the field in defence/attack position)

Ookazi ( mage card:800 direct damage to opponent’s life points)

Trap Hole (trap card:when monster summoned by opponent has more than 1000 atk it is destroyed, not continuous)

Graceful Charity (Draw 3 cards from deck, then discard any 2 from hand)

Dark Hole x2 (magic card:destroy all monstrs on the field)

Rush Recklessly (magic card:like reinforcements, but magic card and increases by 700 instead of 500)

Enchanted Javelin (trap:when opponent attacks, increase life points by attking monster’s atk points[even when they attk my monster])

Waboku (trap:Damage inflicted by opponent’s monsters for this turn, is decreased to 0)

Numinous Healer (trap: like attack & reciever but instead heals me 1000 lifepoints instead of doing 700 dmg to theirs)

Change Of Heart(Control 1 opposing monster until end of my turn[good for tribute])

I’d also like to keep my deck balanced, my deck I randomly made had too many spells/magic/trap cards. Doesn’t matter about the amount of cards, but preferably around 40. Could you also add the strategy with the cards added in, and some good combos. TYVM!

Fissure, Mystical Space Typhoon and Ultimate Offering x 2 would be good if you had the Gadgets from Machine Revolt; if you go to a local hobby store you should be able to get them cheap as Duelist Pack Yugi has them common and people will be wanting to offload them. Trap Hole and Nobleman could also work in Gadgets, but if you don’t want to buy a new structure Deck like Zombie World then there’s not a lot you can do. Waboku and Robbin Goblin are also semi-staples. Change of Heart, Dark Hole, Witch of the Black Forest, Graceful Charity and Monster Reborn are banned.
